Promote the unification and codification of business law in Europe
Strengthening the European Single Market by building a unified framework of business law that fosters investment, legal clarity, and economic competitiveness.
Our Mission
One Market One Law is an international non-profit organization based in Brussels. Its mission is to enhance the process of unifying business law within the European Union through codification and the implementation of a European Business Code.
The association supports a stronger Single Market, the union of savings and investments, a simplified legal environment, and improved competitiveness across the EU.
Legal Harmonization
We work to overcome the fragmentation of business law in Europe. By promoting codified and unified rules—open to all companies and mandatory for Member States— we aim to create legal certainty, reduce costs, and strengthen the foundations of a truly integrated market. A particular focus is dedicated to the promotion of the European Business Code prepared by the Association Henri Capitant.
International collaboration
Our association serves as a platform for dialogue between legal experts, academics, policymakers, and business leaders. By pooling knowledge and sharing best practices, we foster a cooperative environment where common solutions to complex legal challenges can emerge, driving forward the European project.
